Wouldn’t it be dreamy if your bedroom was your favorite spot in your home? Your refuge, your sanctuary? Everyone says it, yet almost everyone I work with says “Lets do the rest of the house first, we are the only ones that will see the bedroom.” I say “boo!” Treat yourself. Smile every time you wake up and feel enveloped when you walk in, weary, if your life is like mine, at the end of every day. Here is some food for thought….
You know they will be in there too…so safely tuck the yards of yummy fabric on walls and windows.
I love a good monogram just about anywhere…but on the bed I think it adds an even more personal level to the space.
This Bedroom from Mary McDonald is one of my all time favorites. Can’t you just imagine drawing the curtains on a rainy day and snuggling up with a good book or a sleeping toddler!
Billowing yards of fabric go along way to make a bedroom feel even more cozy…putting them behind the headboard keep if safe from messy hands!
Monogram, monogram! I also really love wallpaper or, even better, upholstered walls in a master suite. It adds even another layer to the cacoon of coziness!
Hope you and your family are doing well!! We miss you on the east coast :). I love the pic of the bedroom with the gray zebra print on the walls!! Is that your bedroom?! Gorg! We are redoing an upstairs bathroom and I am looking for some wallpaper. Is that print fabric or wallpaper??
Thanks so much! I love that zebra…it is one of my favs! It is actually a fabric….from Travers. It is called Garmont Linen:)
